New Warrior Fit Class – We are offering a new class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:00pm, an intro to Warrior Fit. The class will be less intense and more technique orientated. This is Phillip Adams of the Seattle Seahawks we were training in Dallas this weekend. He plays defensive back and returns punts. I’ve always known that concepts from our Kali/JKD program would be beneficial to offensive and defensive lineman but he participated in the training and was helpful in showing me how players from every position would benefit.

Krav Maga at Warriors Edge

I’m fired up to let you guys know that we are now offering Krav Maga classes here at Warriors Edge. Classes will be offered Monday and Wednesday nights from 5-6 and 7-9, and Saturday Mornings from 9-11. Being a JKD guy I like how Krav Maga is a hybrid system which is constantly evolving in order to stay current. Justice Quintana and his Roque Krav Maga will be a great addition here and will do a great job of following our philosophy of Keepin’ It Real. Call for more details.

Fitness Boot Camps

A lot of gyms advertise having a fitness boot camp, but I bet the US Marines don’t take their recruits to very many of them to get them ready for boot camp. Here is a picture taken last Thursday 01/05/2012 taken while some current and hopeful US Marines visited our facility to take advantage of a special Warrior Fit we provide the US Marines. If its good enough for the Marines, it will probably help you.

Warriors Edge Wrestling Club

The Warriors Edge Wrestling Club, who I have dubbed the “Bad News Bears” because we are the Bad News Bears of Texas Club Wrestling, went to watch Warriors Edge coaches Jason Rodriquez and David Fuentes wrestle for Texas State last night against A&M. They even got to wrestle at the intermission and performed well. They spent the rest of the evening flirting with all of the college chicks at the Rec Center. We are real proud of them
